Siege was founded by two strong women of Character, Ms Suzan Nambi and Mrs Diana Kawuki. Both residing in Arizona, USA. They shared similar experiences being both first generation immigrants, growing up in Uganda. Their love for advocacy and drive for change within their community fanned the birth of Siege.

Ms Suzan Nambi  is a permanent resident in the United States born in Uganda. Having gone through the foster care system in the United States , makes her a great advocate for the youth coming in and out of the foster care system. She is currently enrolled in the Nursing program at Arizona State University and has worked with numerous organizations advocating for Foster care youth in Colorado including the State Department of Housing to establish FYI (Foster Youth to Independence ) Housing vouchers for youth coming out of foster care.

Mrs Diana Kawuki is pursuing a Degree in Arts with emphasis in Social work at Estrella Community College. She is also a leader within a big vibrant Ugandan community in Arizona and understands the plight of an immigrant and their challenges. During her freshman year she spearheaded the project on the formation of a resource acquisition framework for single school going mothers to successfully navigate their roles. Both Diana and Suzan are passionate proponents of persons with Autism and Sickle Cell anemia and have first hand experiences with these afflictions in their families. They adequately understand the needs and commitments required to see that such children live a normal life.
