Brief info

Ms Suzan Nambi is a permanent resident in the United States born in Uganda. Having gone through the foster care system in the United States , makes her a great advocate for the youth coming in and out of the foster care system. She is currently enrolled in the Nursing program at Arizona State University and has worked with numerous organizations advocating for Foster care youth in Colorado including the
State Department of Housing to establish FYI (Foster Youth to Independence ) Housing vouchers for youth coming out of foster care.

Suzan is a force to reckon with, Her love for advocacy and positive change led to the birth of Siege. She is Pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Arizona State University. She has been part of so many platforms advocating for reforms within the Foster Care System in Colorado. She has worked with the State Department of housing in shaping the FYI housing vouchers program for foster youth within Colorado. She’s an avid writer for change using poetry as a vessel to stimulate positive change. She won the Education Non Profit Corporation Jeffco writing challenge 2020.
